Dulce Aguado: Despite Dulce being the social butterfly between the two, Alina approached Dulce first, being drawn to her. Alina and Dulce quickly became best friends, and Alina holds a special place in Dulce’s heart as her first genuine friend. Alina harbors a deep care for and loyalty to Dulce, and develops a crush on her as well. Dulce of course picked up on the romantic feelings fast, but didn’t acknowledge them since Alina never brought it up herself. Alina knows Dulce has trauma regarding relationships, and while not knowing it in any sort of detail, doesn’t try to push anything beyond platonic relations out of respect for that.
Minji Yoon: Alina has a distaste for Minji, and Minji is intimidated by Alina. When the two were first introduced, Minji made a rude comment about her talent as a bodyguard in comparison to her fragile appearance. Alina also dislikes how outright rude Minji’s comments towards Dulce are, though also is the one to tell Dulce to leave Minji alone when Dulce is being overly social with Minji. Minji kept making comments about Alina’s appearance being “too pretty” while not realizing it upset Alina, and was flustered by her presence since that’s how Minji reacts to people she deems as very attractive. Upon witnessing Alina’s fighting and athletic skills, Minji only became more awkward around Alina due to now also being intimidated by her.
Uche Obiako: AAlina became acquainted with Uche through Dulce. She was often included when those two would be planning excursions for the class. Over time, Alina became friends with Uche herself, and the two would hang out on their own as well. Alina appreciates Uche not treating her like she was fragile and incapable. Uche appreciates Alina for not underestimating or overlooking his intelligence.
She has Oculocutaneous Albinism (OCA) Type 1, and other complications as a result - such as photophobia and vision issues.
As a result of her albinism, she has low vision and uses a white cane.
Despite her intense distaste for appearing feminine in any way, she hates the idea of cutting her hair and thus keeps it long.
